The assistant does not write a reply to every message — and rightly so. Why a particular message has no draft, you find in Mail: every message has a status, and clicking its row shows the reason too.
Statuses of mail without a draft

Mail that Mail does not show at all
Some messages never reach Mail, because the assistant skips them before sorting:
- mail from the mailbox's own address and its other addresses (that is you),
- messages that already carry the assistant's label (already handled),
- mail to an alias answered by another assistant of the same mailbox,
- drafts.
The assistant also processes only mail that arrived since it started (at the very first check, mail of the last 24 hours as well). Older mail is only read by the wizard while learning — from your replies; it writes no drafts to it.
When you want a draft anyway
In Mail, open the message's row (or its detail) and click:
- Draft a reply — the assistant writes a reply right away, whatever it decided before;
- Process again — the message goes the whole way again, as if it had just arrived. Useful after changing the instructions.
The new draft then appears in your mailbox and in Drafts.
When it keeps happening
One skipped message happens. When the assistant skips a whole kind of mail, change the Filter instruction and try the change on the trial set before letting it loose on real mail.
