# The organisation's change history

Organisation → **Change history** records everything people changed in the
organisation through the draften interface. The **organisation's owners and
managers** read it.

## What is recorded

- new versions of the assistants' instructions,
- knowledge sources (added, changed, switched off, removed),
- the assistants' settings and identity, switching them on, off and deleting them,
- changes of mailboxes (name, status, other addresses),
- members and their roles, mailbox access grants,
- API keys (name, API and key ending — never the key itself),
- connections to external systems and their grants to mailboxes,
- decisions on lessons and knowledge corrections,
- applying the wizard,
- the organisation's own record (founding, directory bindings, self-service).

Each change shows who made it, when, what it concerns and what changed from
what to what.

## What is not recorded

- **Mail content** and **secrets** (passwords, keys, tokens) — never. For an
  assistant's signature it only notes that it changed.
- The assistant's work (mail checks, drafts) — that is in the assistant's
  Activity.
- Reads and sign-ins.

An entry is written in the same step as the change: a change that was not
saved leaves no trace. Entries cannot be edited or deleted; they go only with
the whole organisation.

## Filtering

Narrow the record by action or area (keys only, say), by number of days, by
person and by assistant.

A mailbox owner sees the part of the history about their assistant in the
assistant's Settings → Change history — see
