# Activity and Change history

Two pages in the assistant's Settings answer two different questions:
**Activity** answers "what did the assistant do", **Change history** "who
changed what".

## Activity

Settings → **Activity** shows the assistant's work.

**Mail checks** — every pass through the mailbox: when it started and ended,
from when it read mail, and a summary — how many drafts it wrote, how many
messages it handed over or skipped, how many were automatic, over the limit,
suspicious, and how many errors. A check under way is marked **in progress**.
When one ended with an error, its description is here too.

**Requests** — what you asked the assistant to do by hand: a mail check with
**Check the mail**, a message processed on request, a trial set run, a
connection test, wizard steps. Each shows who asked, when it finished and how.

**Events** — a detailed record of what happened during the checks, warnings
included. Useful when something does not work and you look for the cause; an
event links to the mail check or message it belongs to.

Everyone with access to the mailbox sees the Activity.

## Change history

Settings → **Change history** shows the changes **people** made in the
interface:

- new instruction versions,
- knowledge sources (added, changed, switched off, removed),
- the assistant's settings and identity (name, signature), switching on and off,
- decisions on lessons and knowledge corrections,
- applying the wizard.

Each change shows who made it, when and what changed from what to what. Mail
content and secrets (passwords, keys) are never here — for the signature it
only notes that it changed. Entries cannot be edited or deleted.

The assistant's change history is seen by the **mailbox owner**. The whole
organisation's history is read by its managers — see
